Our founder, Pere, knows surfing is as much about technique as it is about strength and flexibility. With years of coaching under his belt and a background in exercise science, he left behind a dental career (no joke) to pursue his passion for surf-specific training. Pull ups make you paddle stronger

Strength improves surfers pop up

Stronger surfers displayed significantly higher force production and quicker in-water pop-up times (TTP), showing that strength positively influences surf performance. Notably, IPU scores strongly correlated with dynamic force and TTP, suggesting that improving upper-body strength may enhance pop-up speed.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any special equipment?

A great program requires great equipment, but nothing crazy. Dumbbells, a dual pulley machine, barbells, hex bar, resistance bands, and something soft to lay on for the mobility work. And, of course, your stoke.

I’ve never really worked out before – is this going to be too hard?

Not at all! We’ve designed this program to suit all levels, from total groms to seasoned surfers looking to dial up their fitness. It will progress in complexity throughout the year as you improve your movement capacity and get stronger.

What if I miss a week?

Life happens. You can always jump back in where you left off, or repeat a week if you need to. This program is flexible – just like you’ll be after a few weeks of mobility training.

What happens after I join the waitlist?

Once you join the waitlist, you’ll secure priority access to enroll in the program before it’s available to the public. You’ll receive an email with all the details, including when enrollment officially opens and exclusive early bird pricing.

When does the program start?
